Advantages
While making concrete of
strength M15 and above grade, the use of RAJASHREE gives you a saving in
the cementconsumption of over 5% to 10% as compared to other 43 Grade Cements.
The saving level increases to more than 10% compared to generally available
33 Grade Cements. Higher the strength of concrete made, greater are the
savings.
As RAJASHREE develops high
early strength at 1,3 & 7 days and with exceptionally high 28 days
strength, formwork of slabs and beams can be removed much earlier, which
results in increased speed of construction & savings in centering cost.
Owing to its high fineness,RAJASHREE
offers better workability for a given water cement ratio ensuring very
dense,compact and durable concrete.
RAJASHREE is low alkali cement
C3A between 5% - 8% and provides an insurance against alkali
aggregate reaction, and chloride attack, this results in durable concrete.
Ideal Applications
-
Residential,Commercial Complexes
and general construction work.
-
Spun pipes and poles manufacturing.
-
Concrete roads and ferro-cement
concrete elements.
-
Asbestos cement products.
-
Precast concrete units such
as grills, doorframes, manhole covers etc.
-
PCC solid and hollow blocks.
-
Floor tiles.

Advantages
BIRLA SUPER gives you a
minimum saving in cement consumption from 10% to 20% as compared to other
cements, while making concrete of grade M15, M20 and above.
BIRLA SUPER develops high
early strength and facilitates early removal of formwork of slabs and beams, which
results in increased speed of construction and savings in centering cost.
BIRLA SUPER produces highly
durable concrete due to very low percentage of alkalies, chlorides, magnesia&
free lime in its composition.(C3A between 5% to 8%)
BIRLA SUPER continues to
increase compressive strength of concrete and mortar even after 28 days. The
365 days strength is found 25% to 30% higher than 28 days strength.Additional
strength imparts durability & enhances the life of the structure.
BIRLA SUPER reduces steel
consumptionupto 10%.
Ideal Applications
-
Residential, Commercial, Industrial
Complexes and multi-storey buildings.
-
Roads,runways & bridges,culverts,
flyovers, etc.
-
Prefabricated elements such
as poles, pipes, grills, manhole covers, paving blocks, sleepers and flooringtiles.
-
High grade and high performanceconcrete.
-
Water tanks, pumps & otherwater
retaining structures.
-
Prestressed concrete elements.
|
Advantages
-
High resistance to attack by
sea water and soils containing soluble sulphates.
-
Lower susceptiblity to dissolution
and leaching.
-
Lower heat of hydration and
hence less risk of thermal shrinkage.
-
Greater resistance to cracking.
-
Improved corrosion resistanceto
steel by preventing sulphate attack.
-
Improved durability inaggressive
conditions.
Ideal Applications
-
Buildings near sea coast.
-
Undergroung structures, aqueducts,canals
and culverts.
-
Foundations,piles and basements.
-
Structures in swampy areas andfootings,
plinth beams, etc.
-
Coastal Protective structures,e.g.
sea walls, break water, tetrapods etc.
-
Water mains, sewerage pipes,septic
tanks and sewage treatment plants.
-
Aqua farm tank.
-
Cooling towers, chimneys.
-
Port facilities e.g. wharfs,jetties
and other marine structures.

Advantages
In ordinary concrete, there
is danger of high permeability due to calcium hydrooxide leaching
out and creating excess voids due to ingress of water. With BIRLA STAR,the
fly ash through its pozzolanic properties reacts with calcium hydroxideturning
it into C-S-H gels, thus reducing permeability and preventing corrosion.
Plus, BIRLA STAR due to its
tri-calcium aluminate content of 5% - 8% enhances concrete's ability for
sulphate and chloride resistance.
BIRLA STAR contains chloride
lower than 0.015%, far less than the BIS of 0.05%, further reducing the
harmful corroding effect on steel reinforcement in concrete.
Ideal Applications
-
Mass concrete work-dams, canals,spillways
etc.
-
Masonry work, plastering and
finishing items.
-
RCC work in building construction.
-
Grouts and mortars.
-
Asbestos cement products.
-
Culverts, drains.
-
Effluent and sewage treatment
plant.
-
Marine Works.
